By taking the basic mediation course, you will be taking the first step toward learning a new trade or honing career advancement.The elder care mediation is for mediators who have taken the basic mediation course or professionals who work with the geriatric population who would like to broaden their communication skills.The advanced family mediation course is for mediators who would like to help couples through a divorce. It also covers the basic material necessary for conducting mediation for Children’s Protective Services and child custody for some counties.Arbitration training is for mediators who want to write an opinion for the parties. This is an authoritative ADR process that takes into account your special interests and talents. This training is under the sponsorship of Barnham Graduate Studies and Seminary.Parenting Coordination and Facilitation is for mediators who want to support and help high conflict families with child custody issues. These are court appointed positions for attorneys and non-attorneys.
These courses provide generous continuing education credits (CEU) and MCLE. Let us know of organizations that provide CEU.
Basic Mediation is an intensive training complies with both Texas Civil Practice & Remedy Code Ann. and the Texas Mediation Training Roundtable’s requirements for mediation training. This course is designed to satisfy the 40 classroom hours of training required to mediate court-referred disputes as indicated in the Texas Alternative Dispute Resolution Act § 154.052, Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann.
Advanced: Family and Divorce Mediation Training is an advanced course for mediation training in Divorce & Child Custody,as required to mediate court-referred disputes as indicated in the Texas Alternative Dispute Resolution Act § 154.052, Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann.

Parenting Coordinators and Facilitators assist the family courts by providing mediation for high conflict couples who need guidance in child custody issues and scheduling. The Coordinators and Facilitators are appointed by judges and paid by the families according to state statutes.
Elder Care Mediation is twenty hours of training in standards of care and communication that will benefit social workers, hospice workers, nursing home administrators, certified public accountants, guardians, lawyers, and mediators who seek to expand their careers and reinforce their resumes.
